Hey On Top of Spaghetti opened last night, Friday March 26th! This place is a great BYOB Italian restaurant in Seaside Heights NJ. GSW Property Group was there for the opening last night! Great time, great food, great service. Awesome. This restaurant is on Blaine Avenue, a block and a half from our summer rental units at Surfside Condominiums. It is a nice corner location and if you sit in the front you have a panoramic view of the Boulevard. We started with fried mozzarella which was tasty and filling, then had an entrée of rigatoni Bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. We finished the meal with some fresh strawberries and cannoli filling. If you come down to Seaside Heights at the NJ shore this year, definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant.
Hey if you are down in Seaside Heights this weekend or anywhere near the New Jersey Shore and the beaches, there is a huge parade going on in town! The parade route is down the boulevard and all the cool bars will have a view of the route. Hemingways, the Bamboo, Karma and Klee’s! It is going to be fun for all!

Seaside Heights Polar Bear Plunge 2010
Come down to participate, to donate or just enjoy the fun. Thousands will be taking the plunge in the icy waters of the north Atlantic at Seaside Heights, NJ on February 27th, 2010. When the temperatures drop, the Polar Bears Plunge! The Polar Bear Plunges for Special Olympics New Jersey are fund raising events in which participants pledge $100 or more to take a brazen romp into the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the middle of Winter. Crazy? GSW Property Group thinks so and we say that many folks agree as thousands take the Plunge for Special Olympics New Jersey year after year.

This promotional film from 1960 was discovered by Peter J. Smith, Director of the Seaside Heights Office of Public Relations in May 2008, and was converted to modern video format by Joe Verderosa of Greenrose Media. Peter had seen this film once before in his life, when it was shown by Mr. Hugh J. Boyd, Principal of his namesake school in Seaside Heights.
Peter spent five years looking for this video inside the Borough Hall. One day, he had to reach high on a shelf to retrieve a box of 8 radios. However, the box only had 7 radios inside. This made him grab a stepladder and look for the radio. The radio was found on top of a reel of film, which turned out to be the long-lost Sun and Fun video. We like to think that the spirit of J. Stanley Tunney, who appears in this film, and is believed to occassionally make a paranormal visit to the Borough Hall, led us to this valuable piece of history.
