This place is a great BYOB Italian restaurant in Seaside Heights NJ. GSW Property Group was there for the opening last night! Great time, great food, great service. Awesome. This restaurant is on Blaine Avenue, a block and a half from our summer rental units at Surfside Condominiums. It is a nice corner location and if you sit in the front you have a panoramic view of the Boulevard. We started with fried mozzarella which was tasty and filling, then had an entrée of rigatoni Bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. We finished the meal with some fresh strawberries and cannoli filling. If you come down to Seaside Heights at the NJ shore this year, definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant.

MTV Jersey Shore

We are property owners down here in Seaside Heights and have been following the show Jersey Shore all winter. Although not fans of reality shows, we had to pay attention when we saw the house around the corner from us have their garage door painted and movie cameras placed all over. So like a lot of other folks, we tuned in to MTV’s Jersey Shore.

Never thought this show would become as controversial as it did! My wife and I have been hanging at the Jersey Shore beaches all our lives. We never had an issue with any one particular group that came down here.

With that being said, Seaside Heights has a diverse group of people in town during the summer. Everyone comes down for a good time, one persons definition may not be anothers but nonetheless everyone is welcome.

We condone friendly, legal and safe activities. People need to respect each other and stay laid back when at the beach. We don’t care who you are, what nationality you are, what color, what part of the US you are from; everyone should be able to hang at the beach and get along as it is the beach….time for a good time, right?

My wife and my two kids hang at the beach, the boardwalk, the restaurants and hang out at our pool with our guests. Those of us down here in Seaside Heights need to realize our guests are going to come down and they need to be feel welcome.

In closing, we also ask that everyone coming here respect the families, the people and the environment down here at the New Jersey Shore!

This year will be the 16th annual Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights, and they now have more than 3,000 people registered for the event, some from as far away as Alaska.  There will be costumes, arcades and thousands of spectators in attendance. Big Joe Henry, “the Voice of the Plunge”, from Radio station NJ 101.5, will broadcast live from the Aztec Ocean Resort, site of the Plunge, with interviews, updates and a countdown to the Plunge.

The event is sponsored by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a volunteer effort by the Law Enforcement community of New Jersey to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Jersey. The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey was ranked number two in the world for raising more than $2 million in 2007.

Location – centered at the Aztec at Boardwalk and Sherman Ave.
Check-in – from 9:00 through 12:30 AM
The Plunge – 1:00 pm
Lunch – 1:15 (if you go for a plunge you and one guest eat for free)

I know it’s winter and the summer weekly vacation rental season in Seaside Heights is over, but doesn’t this just make you itch to get back down here next summer?!?
